An eBook, a comic book and an audiobook for April
In this end of April, as time takes us back a few months, here are our reading and listening recommendations, so you don’t miss a thing under the cover!
Primo Indivisibile: when Italian grammar gets sexy
Not to worry, this is not a story based on boring concepts of the Italian language, important but indigestible for many people. Something has to be said, however, and that is that in this story we are talking about hiatus and diphthong, incomprehensible (or perhaps not) concepts with which we were tortured at school. But there will also be talk of a driving school that unmasks diabetics who pretend to be healthy in order not to have their licences renewed every two years… What will all this have to do with a single (short) story? You just have to read it to find out!

The Weight of Air: Lurking Terror?
Undoubtedly Ricardo Tronconi’s most disturbing comic strip (and story). ‘The Weight of Air’ combines everything. The macabre atmosphere of a mansion with a terrible past. Two young couples who meet and exchange in an unhealthy, erotic plot. A mysterious sound and an even more disturbing secret that is eventually revealed. For those who love thrillers, noirs and also decidedly strong colours, this comic book (in colour) from the pencil of Calogero Burgio is ideal. Don’t switch off the light!

Gorgona: when even jellyfish aren’t real
The island of ‘Gorgona’ is beautiful and inaccessible, set off the coast of Tuscany. But it is also the ideal setting for an improbable yet hilarious story that begins with an investigation into an alleged jellyfish invasion and ends with… you’ll only find out when you listen to this summery audiobook. Small spoiler: not all the characters are who they say they are, but that goes without saying!
