Plot

Who says that erotic novels don’t make room for time travelling? Undoubtedly not La Novella Orchidea.
Seriously involved with his conjugal obligations, in the second half of the last century, an unknown writer unexpectedly finds himself copulating with a wonderful, Indian, curry flavoured woman. Her name is Adhal Geesha ( letter more letter less ), she’s married to a well known faithless and adulterous man, and she wants revenge; besides she is a time traveller. The two characters, embarking on an increasingly intense affair, get to bend the creases of space, through the creases of sex, up to being hurled into the middle of the infamous naval battle, during which Nelson ends up winner at Cape Trafalgar.
Will our heroes succeed in reaching their orgasm, thanks to which they’ll be able to go back to life, to their era, returning from death? Or, will someone else pay for their erotic deceit?

The weight of air

The weight of air and its consequences in comic version.

Plot

A freaky and uncanny narrator, insane in appearance, yells a hopeless warning to readers: they must go away while they still can! The story he’s about to report is exceptionally gruesome and, most of all, dangerous…

Long before, in a wonderful Lombard Manor, the corpses of three people were found viciously mangled by the blade of a knife. The condition of the dead bodies, belonging to the architect of the Manor, Violet, his girlfriend Mary Ella and the buyer’s son Manuel, had been allocated to Violet himself presumably in a jealous rage, having caught the two cheating lovers in the act and then killing himself after the vicious deed.

Nonetheless, the bloody curtain seems to re-open three centuries later on another soon-to-be-married couple living in that same house: a dear friend of our narrator’s, Casqual, and his fiancee Q. Ella Meri. These two, after inviting the narrator and his bride-to-be to the mansion, along with an old Professor and his wife and two more friends, delight in building a scenario of what really might have happened a long time before and wondering how the murky persona of a lutist, inventor of “the countervailed lyre”, a peculiar instrument able to measure the weight of air, might have shaken up the situation.

In a whirlwind of betrayals, dangerous erotic games, secret doors and lies, an even wider bloody shadow expands over the characters of this story, until the beginning melts with the end and the horrific initial warning no longer appears so absurd and senseless. Will you manage not to die…of fright? The weight of air is waiting for you, carrying all its consequences.

Plot

Unremarkable events of daily life (and not only) in a Roman camp, related through a real cives point of view. Guided by a skilled and ambitious proconsul bound to write History, betrayals, subterfuges, plots and stories alternate, all this with a single aim: Vercingetorige’s surrender, barricaded in Alesia. Fabia Claudia and Claudia Fabia, two gourgeous cousins pleading the same cause (and the same man), are sent, along with their husband, on a perilous mission: to mislead Vercassivellauno, a relative of Vercingetorige’s, in order to learn about the enemies’ vulnerabilities.

Thanks to Fabia Claudia and Claudia Fabia’s talent, the insignificant and forgotten events of unknown heroes come to connect intimately with the great history of Roman dominion over populations.
